This is a detailed review of the Arts Hotel Barcelona with photos, a description of the area in which the hotel is located, and tips for staying in a five-star hotel in Barcelona.
For many tourists, the Arts Hotel Barcelona is one of the most popular five-star hotels in the city. It is owned by the Ritz Carlton group of companies (not to be confused with the Ritz Hotel, which is located on the other side of the city) and offers high quality and modern accommodation in Barcelona.

You will have one of three possible views depending on where in the building your room is located.
The first view of the beach of Barceloneta, from the rooms located in front and on the left side of the building, if you look at the first photo of the hotel on this page (in the photo the building of the Hotel Arts is on the left).

Location of the Arts Hotel Barcelona
The Arts Hotel is located in the marina area of Port Olimpico, just five minutes from the beach.
Although the hotel is located in the center of the city, it is not the very center. For many, this is not a problem because the metro is a five-minute walk away, and Passeig de Gràcia and the very center of Barcelona are only 4 metro stops (10 minutes away). If you want to walk to the center along the beach, then such a walk will take you 30 minutes, or you can take a taxi to the center in 10 minutes.
Some people like to live in hotels that are in the very center of cultural life. If you are one of those people, then you better find yourself a hotel closer to the Ramblas or Plaça Catalunya.
In addition to being close to the beach and the marina, the Arts Hotel Barcelona has other advantages. You will have a quiet room, which means you will sleep well. Before moving to Barcelona, I came here for vacation at least once a year for ten years (I usually have two holidays, so the second holiday I spent in other places). As a result, I have stayed in different hotels in different areas of the center of Barcelona.
And I can say that in the heart of the city center it is very noisy, especially at night when the city comes alive. If you want guaranteed sleep well at night, choose a hotel away from the very center, at least away from busy roads. In this case, the Arts Hotel Barcelona is in an ideal location.
Many hotel booking sites say that hotels in the city center are soundproof, but from my experience, is not always the case , so be skeptical about such statements. By choosing a hotel away from the hustle and bustle, nothing will interfere with your sleep.
What can the Arts Hotel Barcelona offer to its guests?
If you want style, close to the beach and nothing to disturb your sleep, the Arts Hotel Barcelona is the perfect choice, especially if you can afford the prices! You will benefit from a modern hotel with high standard rooms. You can also be sure that the Barcelona Arts Hotel lives up to its five-star rating, which is not the case with some of the other five-star hotels in Barcelona.
If you are visiting Barcelona for a special occasion, such as a wedding anniversary or honeymoon, the Arts Hotel is ideally located in one of the most romantic areas of Barcelona (after the Cathedral area, this is the most romantic place). You can walk along the embankment under soft lighting, among palm trees, to the sound of the surf.
In short, the Arts is a modern hotel that lives up to its five star rating, located in a quiet area of Barcelona, close to the beaches and the marina.

How to get from the airport to the hotel
