What to bring to the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya

Formula 1 race organizers recommend to carry:

    1. Sunglasses
    2. Sunscreen
    3. Headwear
    4. Comfortable shoes
    5. Ear plugs or earmuffs.

The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is a large and open space. Races will be held under the Spanish sun in the heat. Keep this in mind when going to the race and bring everything you need to make your day as pleasant as possible.

People with tickets without seats, located on the grass in the Pelouse area, usually take umbrellas with them. This will not only protect you from the scorching Spanish sun, but will also help you keep your seat if it is very good for watching the race.

Many people take earplugs, earmuffs, or simple earmuffs with them because fireballs make extremely loud noises. Real Formula 1 racing fans take special headphones with a built-in radio with them. This allows them to listen to race commentators and block out outside noise.

If you have any doubts about the cameras or other recording devices that you plan to bring with you, or have any other questions related to recording at the races, we recommend that you contact the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in advance. Otherwise, you can come to the race, and they will simply not let you in because you have an unsuitable camera.

The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya has various facilities for the disabled.

Disabled parking is located in front of Gate 1 (Sector North) in PA2.

There are seats for the disabled in the upper sector of the G stand (stadium arena) and in the main stand (Main Straight, in front of the pits).

The main stand has elevators and adapted toilets. Grandstand G also has adapted toilets

For those with tickets to the Pelouse sector, there are even more reasons to get to the track early. There are no seats in this sector, and the early birds will stake out all the best places for themselves and quickly fill everything there with umbrellas and picnic tablecloths.

Barcelona-Catalunya track director Salvador Servià advises patience when leaving the track at the end of the day. In order not to push in the crowd and not stand in traffic jams, it is better to just walk along the track or sit down somewhere for a drink until the main crowd of people disperses.
