AMAZING!
This was the best thing I did in Barcelona! The wait in the line outside was 100% worth it. The directions were so clear; you got a passport book and a stamp. You stamped the kind of liquor (or none) and the flavor you want and they surprised you with your drink. The presentation was immaculate; my drink came to me on a train while on fire!

Honestly one of the best bars around
Honestly one of the best bars I have been to, the staff were super accommodating and attentive. They all speak sign language which was refreshing from your normal loud bars. The drinks are of good quality and very good price. They have board games and quirky seating and we’re happy to talk via text for any language/communication issues. It’s shame that there is not a bar like this in the UK. They also have wide variety of drinks and were more than happy to help us move tables when another opened up so we had more space. They also explained the shisha and helped us with it as it was our first time.

Best Bar in Barcelona
This is my favorite bar in Barcelona. Last year my family wandered into the bar by chance and ended up having to much fun. We returned again this year because we had such a great time when we first went. The drinks are out of the ordinary and they are always creating new drinks. The staff is super friendly and engaging. I would 100% recommend!

Best speakeasy by far
All speakeasy bars are different in their own way, but one of the most important things is the hidden entrance and this doesn’t disappoint! Once inside cocktails are made by mixology alchemists who put on a show.
Highly recommended to anyone wanting something a bit different.
Suggestion to owner – how about a revolving barber chair taking you from shop front into bar.Review of: Bobby’s Free

A unique experience. Lovely staff and the owner is really friendly and helpful. This is a must visit for those coming to Barcelona looking for cocktails and a really interesting experience and lively atmosphere. We were treated to a magician who came to our table to perform and it was fabulous. Cocktails were really great. Would come again if back in Barcelona.

Familiar menu for families with young kids
We ate here after a day full of sightseeing around Barcelona. Staff were very nice and efficient. Food was lovely and good choice for young kids. Food on the slightly more expensive side. Price variations for adult milkshake and child’s were disappointing, it was €4 more. However still a good experience.

5 Best Barcelona Cocktail, Wine, and Vermouth Bars
Zona D’Ombra • Barri Gòtic
A wine shop with over 300 wines and a wine bar attached, Zona D’Ombra is a great place to acquaint yourself with a couple dozen Catalunyan wines by the glass, accompanied by classic tapas (cheese platters, marinated sardines…).
Map • +34 935 00 58 02
Boadas • El Raval
Barcelona’s oldest cocktail bar has a timeless elegance about it, as well as professional, bow-tied bartenders who’ll mix you a Fantasia or a Dracula. Hemingway used to hang here.
Map • +34 933 18 95 92
Bar Marsella • El Raval
This dedicated absinthe bar has been around since 1820 and the decor looks like it hasn’t changed since. You’ll soon be propping up the counter just like Hemingway once did. Drip the mineral water over the sugar cube provided into your absinthe glass for that sweet, warm buzz.
Map • +34 934 42 72 63
Bitter Cocktail Bar • Sant Antoni
Stylish bar popular for late-night drinks, with a lounge out back. Expertly prepared signature cocktails (try Bamboo, Adonis, or Catamaran Cooler), DJ sets on weekends, and decent bar nibbles, including generous grilled sandwiches.
Map • +34 935 32 71 99
Tandem Cocktail Bar • Eixample
Long, windowless cocktail bar going strong for over 30 years, with velvet bar stools and a loyal clientele. Bartenders in white tuxedo jackets are particularly good at mixing classic cocktails. Laidback ambiance; ideal for a date or tête-à-tête.

4 Best Barcelona Craft Beer Bars
BlackLab Brewhouse • Barceloneta
Barcelona’s first brewhouse inside the historic Palau del Mar. There are nine homebrews on tap, including a passionfruit IPA and German-style pilsner. Offbeat seasonal offerings, such as the coconut toffee stout, plus a lively kitchen sizzling with burgers.
Map • +34 932 21 83 60
Ølgod • El Raval
With 30 craft brews on tap from Denmark, the rest of Scandinavia, Catalonia, and the UK, this Norse mythology-themed bar brings a touch of beery sophistication to bohemian El Raval. Creative beer cocktails and well-priced tapas, too.
Map • +34 934 43 90 82
Kælderkold • Barri Gòtic
This Danish-run, intimate craft “beertopia” has 15 regularly rotating beers on tap, with a particularly good selection of Scandinavian brews. There’s always pils and weizenbier on tap, and you can also go for a beer cocktail.
Map • +34 932 77 96 71
Garage Beer Co • Eixample
One of Barcelona’s original craft beer breweries, with mismatched furniture and a tap room open daily for tastings of beers brewed on-site as well as guest beers from Catalonia and beyond. Of their own, IPAs (Loose, Virtue Signals, Soup) and DIPA (Hærdball) are particularly good. Good bar food, lively in the evenings.

The bar where time slows down. It is here that you want to arm yourself with a glass of beer, a group of friends and start discussing great things and plans for the future.

Want to go on a cool tour of Barcelona?
Jaime Beriestain
In search of style and luxury, all roads lead to Jaime Beriestain. Most likely you will not find this conceptual institution in most guidebooks, and we are even glad of this. There are no crowds of tourists here, the check is above average and not everyone will find this bar in the intricacies of the Eixample quarters.
“Jaime Bernsteins” is a combination of Parisian luxury, Berlin sound and menu in the style of the best bars in Manhattan.
Address: Carrer Pau Claris 167
Metro station: Urquinaona (M: L1)
Opening hours: Monday – Sunday 18:30-02:00
Polaroid Bar
Barcelona people gather here not only to drink cocktails, but also to watch movies look. The whole bar, as if by a time machine, takes you to the 80s, to the times of other cinema and other music, which is still revered by Barcelona youth.
Address: Carrer dels Còdols, 29
Metro station: Drassanes (M: L3)
Opening hours: Monday – Sunday 19:30-02:30
La Plata
Authentic and small bar famous for its own vermouth and roast fish “boquerones”.

Metro station: Jaume I (M: L4)
Opening hours: Monday – Saturday 10:00-15:15. 18:15 – 23:00

Tickets to the Sagrada Familia
L’ antic Teatre
Among the old narrow labyrinth the city hid this corner of peace under the open sky. Here you are your own waiter, you need to sit on plastic chairs, and there are only a few items on the menu. But one has only to sit down inside this green courtyard in the light of warm cute lanterns, as it turns out that this is not just a bar, but a nice marina for the ever-hurrying citizens.
Address: Carrer de Verdaguer i Callís, 12
Metro station: Urquinaona (M: L1)
Opening hours: Monday – Sunday 10:00 – 23:30
Madam Jasmine
All the freaks of the city in search of a comfortable and tolerant environment gather right here. If you have not yet decided on your gender and orientation, or if you have decided on the contrary, then you are here. Do not ask if there is a man in front of you in this red dress and if it is a woman in that man’s suit. Just grab a gin and tonic, turn off judgment and judgment, and enjoy the Pedro Almodovar-style atmosphere. At the bar you can take stickers, varnishes and cosmetics, with which you can bring yourself into the look corresponding to the freakiness of the institution.
Address: Rambla del Raval, 22
Metro station: Liceu (M: L3)
Opening hours: Monday – Sunday 18:30 – 03:00
Casa Almirall
Opened in 1860, this bar is one of the oldest currently operating in the city. Regulars joke: “it’s good that sofas don’t talk.” After all, political meetings have been held here since the opening, young people washed down the pains of modernity with vermouth and couples hid in dark corners, hiding from prying eyes.
Casa Almirall is a piece of Barcelona history to taste.
Address: Carrer de Joaquín Costa, 33
Metro station: Universitat (M: L1)
Opening hours: Monday – Sunday 09:00-00:00
Would you like to see the legendary Barça at the Camp Nou stadium?
La Confiteria
One of the oldest bars in the city with an incredible atmosphere, quirky decor and a rich selection of cocktails – both author’s and everyone’s favorite classics. They pour here from 1912 years, never tired of surprising guests with a variety of drinks. What are, for example, cocktails in a frozen grapefruit or a miniature tub. Great service, jazz music and soft dimmed lights are all you need for a perfect evening!

Metro station: Paral-lel (M: L2, L3)

The best cocktail bars in Barcelona.
Spain in Russian
An active nightlife, plenty of entertainment for all tastes and an incomparable spirit of freedom and adventure. All this is Barcelona, a port city, where every day thousands of bars open their doors to visitors, and the clink of glasses never ceases. But how to understand this abundance? How to choose where to go on a romantic date, and where to go to a fun party with friends? To help you make the right choice, we bring to your attention a guide to the best cocktail bars in the capital of Catalonia.
Ginger Retro Evening
We will start our journey from the very heart of Barcelona, the Gothic Quarter. It is here, among the winding streets and small shops, that Ginger is hidden, a cozy place in retro style. Subdued lighting and jazz rhythms will make you feel like you are in the 60s of the last century, and the variety of cocktail and wine lists will pleasantly surprise even connoisseurs. Its creator Janet is familiar with the best culinary traditions of England and France, so do not miss the opportunity to try the local cuisine.

Tandem Cocktail Bar, precision is the courtesy of kings
“Cocktail is our profession, and cocktail classics are our specialty.” This motto perfectly captures the essence of Tandem Cocktail Bar, an elegant establishment for true connoisseurs. Don’t be fooled by the unassuming façade of this bar. Behind the door that separates it from the bustling street, you will find a real temple where cocktail making is elevated to the rank of art, and the ingredients are mixed with sniper precision. Here, no doubt, there is everything to satisfy the most demanding taste.
Address: Aribau, 86, Eixample Esquerre, 08036 Barcelona.

Dry Martini, choosing the best
Dry Martini, located in the Eixample district, is an undoubted trendsetter in the world of cocktails. Suffice it to say that for six years in a row this institution has been included in the ranking of the 50 best bars in the world. Dry Martini is the only Spanish bar that can boast of such an achievement. When it opened over 30 years ago, the dry martini was the only drink available here. You can still order this classic cocktail today, perhaps the best in Barcelona, or you can choose one of the latest creations of Maestro Javier de las Muelas, the current owner of Dry Martini.
Address: Aribau, 162, Eixample, 08036 Barcelona.
Opening hours: Mon – Thu, 13:00-02:30; Fri, 13:00–03:00; Sat, 18:30–03:00; Sun, 18:30–02:30.

El Paraigua, old spirit
El Paraigua is another place where the atmosphere plays an important role. The cocktail club is located in the wine cellars of the ancient monastery of the Gothic Quarter. Tahití, taste of the tropics
You don’t have to travel far across the Pacific to get a taste of Hawaiian or Polynesian culture. Just stop by Tahití, a bar in El Raval that specializes in tropical tiki-style cocktails. Tiki culture originated in the United States in the 1930s as a result of the Americans’ passion for Pacific exotics. However, you will not see colorful shirts or flower necklaces in Tahití. The interiors of the bar are rather laconic. According to owner Javier Cejas, he was inspired by Don Beachcomber, founder of the first tiki bar, and Trader Vic, inventor of the legendary Mai Tai.
Address: Joaquín Costa, 39, El Raval, 08001 Barcelona.
Opening hours: Mon-Thu, 19:00-02:30; Fri – Sun, 19:00 – 03:00.

Torre Rosa, cocktail under palm trees
The name Torre Rosa in Spanish means “Pink Tower”. And this is no coincidence, because the bar is located in a historic pink building built at the beginning of the last century. Forged gates, interiors in terracotta colors with arched openings create a very special atmosphere. However, we recommend that you take a table on the terrace surrounded by palms and perennial pines, where it is so easy to feel like you are in a tropical paradise. Cecilia Clavell founded Torre Rosa at 1987 year. The bar is now run by her son, Jordi Reig, winner of several national and international cocktail awards.

Negroni, the customer is always right
Mix classic and modern in a sophisticated glass of black interiors. This is the goal set by the creators of Negroni, a bar that is located directly across the street from Tahití. Don’t be surprised if you don’t get the traditional drink card here. This bar just doesn’t have it. It is enough to say about your wishes – and before you have time to look back, you will receive a drink prepared personally for you. Accuracy of taste hits – 100%. In addition to the classic Negroni, here you can try the excellent Moscow Mule and Whiskey Collins.

Milano Cocktail Bar, Italian Chic
Fine dining for real gourmets, daily jazz concerts and, of course, His Majesty Cocktail. All this is Milano Cocktail Bar, underground, in the truest sense of the word, an institution in the center of Barcelona. To get here, you will have to go down to the basement, go through the dim stairs, which will only increase the intrigue, but the result is worth it.
