This Temple of incredible beauty, located in the Eixample district, was designed by the great architect Antoni Gaudí since 1884. Unfortunately, he died in 1925 before completing this great building. Work on this Sagrada Familia became the main goal of his life. The Sagrada Familia has not been completed even now and it is planned to complete its construction in 2025, on the centenary of the death of the great architect.
Here you can climb the spiral staircase to the top of the Cathedral and open up the vastness of this magical city before you. However, do not forget about the queues and we advise you to purchase tickets in advance.
Useful information:

Price : Regular ticket – 15 euros, for students and pensioners – 12 euros, visits to the basilica and Gaudi’s house – 17 euros.
Our advice: it is better to buy a ticket in advance so as not to stand in line for 2-3 hours (sometimes all tickets are completely sold out on the Internet, and it is impossible to enter in a live queue). You can buy tickets in advance here. Or here is another entrance to the temple with a climb to the towers.

To admire the true Catalan architecture, its color, visit the Gothic Quarter, it’s just an open-air museum, which houses such a huge number of Gothic buildings, which can not be found anywhere else in Europe. It was here that the Roman village of Barcino was located, which became the progenitor of the modern city. Buildings of the 14th-15th centuries, as well as some buildings from antiquity, have survived to this day. Between the streets of Carrer de la Tapineria and del Sots-Tinent Navarro, you can see the remains of the Roman wall, in the center is the beautiful Cathedral of Saint Eulalia, the cathedral and the chapel. Most of the streets in this area are very narrow and winding and closed to traffic, which gives it a special flavor.

Barcelona sights shown on the map:
After such a walk, you start to look at a football match a little differently than a rabid fan who scolds both the players themselves and the way the match is broadcast. Of course, like any famous football team, a club museum has been created here. You can visit it at the exit from the stadium.
Of course, these are not all interesting places in Barcelona. This city is created for all people with all hobbies. It is a city of love, impressions, talents, history… Having visited Barcelona at least once, you will never forget it.
You can start your acquaintance with Barcelona from its central square, Plaza Catalunya. From this square, the main streets of the city diverge, including the promenade La Rambla and the fashionable Passeig de Gracia.
On the Rambla, you can sit in numerous cafes and try traditional Catalan dishes, go to several museums along the way, for example, the Jamon Museum or the Erotic Museum.
Also on this street is the famous Boquería market, where they sell the freshest seafood, farm cheeses, fruits and vegetables.
The Las Ramblas on the map of Barcelona sights stretched from Plaza Catalunya to the seaport itself, reaching which you can relax on a magnificent wooden pavement, admire the monument to Columbus, or go to the Maritime Museum.
Passeig de Gracia will appeal to those who follow the latest fashion trends in clothing and accessories. Throughout its length there are boutiques of famous European brands. This street is also home to houses designed by the most famous Catalan architect, Gaudí, the houses of Casa Batllo and Casa Milo. These buildings will amaze with their unusual architecture, while they are ordinary residential buildings.
You should definitely visit the Gothic Quarter, a part of Barcelona that has preserved its appearance for several centuries.
The Gothic Quarter has a special atmosphere, thanks to the narrow cobbled streets and many old buildings. In the back streets of the quarter you can find the Picasso Museum, the line to which sometimes lined up on the whole street..
Not far from the Las Ramblas there is a beautiful Cathedral, and next to it is a flea market. Also, street performers often perform on the square in front of the Cathedral, whose performances can be admired over a cup of coffee in one of the cafes right there.
Barcelona is inextricably linked with the name of the architect Gaudi and his main creation is, of course, the Sagrada Familia – the Sagrada de Familia. The cathedral was built during the life of Gaudi, but its construction continues to this day according to the sketches of the architect. Sagrada Familia is one of the symbols of the city, due to its unusual appearance, reminiscent of some people of the plexus of tendons, others of tree roots, and others of something else.
There are many parks in the city where you can just walk and relax with the whole family.
For example, Ciutadella Park, not far from Plaza Catalunya. It also houses a zoo and a pond with birds.
Barcelona’s beach is the pride of the city. Here you can not only swim, but also engage in various sports, special playgrounds are equipped for this. Also on the coast there are many restaurants with traditional cuisine.
