Since there are so many locations to discover in the lively city, let’s dive into a few gems you must visit before you leave Barcelona.  It can be challenging to navigate traveling to a new city. After coordinating flights, hotels, the metro system, and the language barrier, most tourists are exhausted and in need of helpful advice. That is when LYNX steps in. Today, we will be talking about the three best places to visit on a scooter. La Rambla  Thanks to the new opening, LYNX has expanded to two shops, enabling customers to…

Since e-scooters have become such a popular form of transportation in Barcelona, the city council has categorized the mode as a type A vehicle. This new decision has placed new regulations upon scooters. Most tourists who come to visit are unaware of these new set rules, and therefore, I want to educate anyone coming to Barcelona and renting e-scooters.   Due to previous problems related to electric scooters, citizens must now comply with Spain’s updated e-scooter national traffic authority (DGT) laws. Residents have been instructed to follow these new regulations to bring safety and structure to the streets.  Working at LYNX for over a month now, I can confidently say that when my co-workers and I notify visitors of these rules,…

When you come to Barcelona, you will be mesmerized by the bustling city and its sounds from the streets. These sounds consist of bike bells, car horns, music, and tourists chatting as they explore its worldly wonders. Once your feet begin to blister, a second form of transportation is essential. Both scooters and bikes are frequently used in Barcelona, but several differences may be imperative to know.  This statement might be a shock to you for bike lovers, but e-scooters are the new best things. Do you want to know why? Let’s dive in! I have owned a manual bike and known someone with an e-scooter and can tell you from experience that e-scooters will take over the streets in…

Once in Barcelona, foreign visitors have multiple channels to get around in, but by far, my most favorite is the electric scooter. Taking the metro and the buses are convenient, yet it can take a while to stop every few minutes and is a bit confusing. Walking can be a hassle when it’s too hot out, and taking a taxi can take a toll on your wallet in the long run.    So, of course, the last few options are renting bikes, mopeds, and electric scooters. Tourists struggle to rent mopeds because they require an international license; thus, bikes and scooters are the best options for exploring the beautiful city.   Speaking from experience myself as a new native to…

From dreaming of destinations to planning out flights and hotels, the ultimate travel experience can be easily planned from the comfort of your home with the help of your computer.  Something to consider when traveling or engaging with tourism as it resumes is how you will move around the city. Urban mobility is changing and innovating.  Barcelona: The Better Way to Travel  With the announcement of the EU lifting travel restrictions for the U.S. to travel this summer with qualifying vaccines, there has never been a better time to plan a trip to Spain.  You should definitely rent an…
