Sala Montjuïc Film Festival: exact dates not yet announced
Every year, a large screen is installed in the moat of Montjuïc Castle. On Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings, movies are shown in this picturesque location overlooking the city. Fortunately, films are shown in their original language with subtitles. Most of the films are in English. The festival program changes every year, and before the start there is always a lot of guesswork about what will be shown. Last time they showed “No Country for Old Men” (“No Country for Old Men”), “Wall.E” (“Wall-E”) and “Volver” (“Return” by Pedro Almodovar).
Detailed information about the festival program, tickets, prices and directions can be found on the official Sala Montjuï website.
It is worth buying tickets in advance or arriving early for the screening because they sell out quickly.

The popular arts festival is held in various venues in Barcelona, from the Grec Theater in Montjuïc to the Picasso Museum.
