A Guide To Barcelona El Prat Airport’s Various Lounges
Located in the municipalities of El Prat de Llobregat, Viladecans and Sant Boi, about seven and a half miles southwest of downtown Barcelona, Josep Tarradellas Barcelona–El Prat Airport (BCN) is the largest airport in Catalonia and the second largest in Spain. Barcelona Airport is a hub for IAG-owned Vueling and Level, and is a focus city for Spanish national flag carrier Iberia as well as Air Europa.
Unlike Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport (MAD), which has four terminals spread over a large area, Barcelona Airport only has two. The main terminal, T1, handles both Schengen and non-Schengen flights. T2 is where most low-cost carriers and some domestic flights arrive and depart from.
The benefits of using an airport lounge
Before we take a look at what lounges are available at BCN, let’s first see the benefits of visiting a lounge before your flight. Airport lounges are the haunt of businesspeople and frequent flyers. If you only travel once or twice a year, paying to access a lounge can be an expense that is hard to justify. There are, however, times when paying to use an airport lounge can be money well spent.
Many airport lounges offer free food and drinks, which can actually work out to be less expensive than having a few drinks in the bar or something to eat in one of the airport’s restaurants. Airport lounges are also well worth the expense if you have a long layover between flights. Some lounges even have showers where you can freshen up between flights.
Airport lounges are a great place to relax or work
An airport lounge provides an escape from all the activity taking place in the airport and has plenty of comfortable chairs and sofas where you can relax. Nearly all lounges these days offer free WiFi and have desks where you can get some work done while you are waiting for your flight.
Typically, airport lounges are located airside and are sponsored by airlines for their premium business and first class passengers. If you are not a premium passenger, you can still enter some lounges if you are a member of a scheme like Priority Pass, have tier status with the airline’s loyalty program, or have certain upper-end credit cards like Chase Sapphire Reserve or a Platinum Card from American Express. If none of these apply, you can always pay for lounge access.
At Barcelona Airport, there are four lounges, three in T1 and one in T2. Entry tickets for all the lounges at BCN cost between 41 and 45 euros, and there is no discount for lounge access paid for online.

VIP Lounges at Barcelona Airport
Barcelona airport can get very busy at times. It is the second biggest airport in Spain, so tens of millions of passenger pass through the terminals each year. With the extra challenges of air travel these days, due to the increased security and baggage checks, getting away from the crowds and relaxing in a VIP lounge has become very popular. If you are travelling on a long-haul flight, they are a great place to reduce your stress levels before you fly.
Passengers who are departing from terminal 1 have a choice of three different VIP lounges. In terminal 2 there is only one VIP lounge. The lounges are as follows:
- Canudas – Terminal 2
- Colomer – Terminal 1
- Miró – Terminal 1
- Pau Casals – Terminal 1
In terminal 1, there is also a business centre where you can do business at the airport. This centre contains boardrooms and offices, so it is more suited for corporate commuters. There is more information about this centre here.
Facilities
No matter which lounge you visit, the facilities you find will all be very similar. All the lounges have the facilities stated below; with some lounges having a few extra. Barcelona – Atlético. Forecast and bet / 23.04.2023 / Football predictions
Barcelona will play at home with Atlético Madrid in the 30th round of the championship of Spain. The match will take place on April 23, starting at 17:15 Moscow time. “Barcelona” – “Atletico”: forecast , bet, odds, statistics.
Barcelona
The Catalans have failed to win in the last two rounds. At the same time, their lead over Real Madrid is still serious – 11 points.
Barcelona has a very reliable rear. At 29matches, the Catalans conceded only 9 goals.
Match odds Barcelona – Atletico
1 X 2 New players
Xavi’s team did not play well in their previous match. A draw with Getafe (0:0) obviously did not suit, and certainly made me think.
All Predictions for Spanish Football Championship
For the past three matches, the Catalans do not know the joy of scoring goals. It’s time to remind about yourself and Robert Lewandowski .
In this meeting, the hosts will obviously actively attack. The mood for a meeting with the “mattress” among the Catalans is the most, that neither is, fighting.
Atlético
This team is performing unevenly this season. After a poor start, Atlético moved up to 3rd place in the La Liga standings.
But the team has problems with the implementation. At 29matches, the players of the Madrid club scored only 47 goals.
The team had a successful run in their previous match. At home Atlético defeated one of the outsiders Almeria (2:1).
In personnel terms, the guests have gaps. For example, the injured ex-Catalan Memphis Depay will not play in this meeting.
“Mattress” are fighting for 2nd place. The gap from Real Madrid is 2 points, and Antoine Griezmann with Alvaro Morata are able to get the result.
Forecast and rate
In this fight, bookmakers give preference to nominal hosts. They offer Barcelona to win – 2.02 .
122 € Play Double your deposit22bet

Atlético give a victory – 4.10 , a draw is estimated at 3.60 .
2.02
Xavi’s team is fighting for the championship, and intends to end their recent losing streak as soon as possible.
2.27
Our prediction – Barcelona win. Bet on this can be made with odds of 2.02 . Another betting option is Total over 2.5 for 2.27 .
