The San Isidoro Hostel is cheap in Seville in a fantastic location. There is a rooftop patio for you to enjoy, and the hostel is right by the Cathedral, which you can see from the roof. You are also close to other attractions, including the Plaza de Espana and the Real Alcazar.

7. Unite Hostel Barcelona

If you want to be close to the best beaches and beachside nightclubs in Barcelona, Unite Hostel is the best place to stay! When you aren’t relaxing on the beach, you can take the nearby metro to quickly get to all the coolest places in the city.

Newly renovated, so you can get at least a decent morning sleep after a night of partying.

They come in various sizes and they’re all ultra cool, super design oriented and totally somewhere you’d dream of staying if you saw it on Instagram. BUT IT’S REAL AND AFFORDABLE!

It ain’t the kinda place you’re gonna meet other people (everyone’s too busy Instagramming the F out it anyway), so that’s why this lil’ dash of luxury is the best hostel for couples in Valencia.

This San Sebastian backpackers hostel is located on a lively street right near some choice places to drink and have a night on the town. It’s also a cool 1 min from the beach. The Old Town and its fun vibes is also nearby.

There are good communal spaces here making getting to know people pretty easy. It can get a little bit noisy at night, but if what you’re here to do is BE noisy and party on, then you probably won’t care too much. This is the best party hostel in San Sebastian, after all.

Usturre is one of our favourites in Spain but they’re not taking guests right now. We’re not sure if they’re closed for good but we hope they’ll come back soon.

Education

Spain is one of the student centers in Europe. Every year thousands of students come to study in Spain. Someone chooses this country for higher education or studying Spanish, others are sent here on exchange programs or as part of the Erasmus program. Business schools located in Barcelona and Madrid are very popular, they offer, among other things, an MBA diploma, while the cost of education and living is much lower than in many other European countries.

Finding accommodation for the period of study is one of the important issues in organizing your study process in Spain. A good option for choosing housing can be student dormitories, in which nonresident students are accommodated with pleasure and comfort. There are 2 types of student hostels in Spain:

1. Student hostels at the educational institution

In this case, we are talking about a hostel located on the campus of a university or business school and equipped with all necessary services. At the disposal of students:

  • Single or double apartments with bathroom
  • Daily housekeeping
  • Individual or wifi internet
  • Dining room with a schedule adapted to the study, the possibility of ordering an individual menu
  • Sports hall
  • Security 24 hours, etc.
2. Separately organized student hostels

Unfortunately, not all educational institutions have their own residences. In this case, they offer their students accommodation in independent international student hostels, where students live who study at a wide variety of universities and business schools. Many universities enter into special agreements with dormitories, by virtue of these agreements, students receive discounts. That is why we recommend that you keep this option in mind when you enroll in a university. Independent international student residences provide students with:

  • Single or double apartments with bathroom
  • Daily housekeeping
  • Individual or wifi internet
  • Dining room or shared kitchen (usually 1 kitchen for 10 rooms), some hostels offer apartments with built-in kitchens
  • Sports hall
  • Security 24 hours
  • Proximity to public transport stops, etc.

Renting a room or apartment in Spain

If for one reason or another you are not satisfied with living in a student dormitory, you can rent an apartment or a room in a student apartment. In every Spanish city you will find a large offer of real estate for rent to students. As a rule, these are apartments with three or more bedrooms, a common room and a kitchen, located near the university zone of the city. Renting a room will cost significantly less than renting an entire apartment in Spain. The downside of such a lease, in comparison with a hostel, may be the untimely solution of utility problems by the owner of the apartment (leaks, malfunctioning taps, etc.), poor noise insulation of rooms and the apartment as a whole, etc.

Hostel

If you have not yet decided on accommodation, but you need to stay urgently, you can temporarily stay in one of the city’s hostels. Many hostels are located in the heart of the city close to public transport, so you can easily get to the educational institution.
