Good afternoon everyone! Finally got around to write about the treatment of our child in the hospital of Sant Joan de Deu Barcelona. I would like to once again say a huge thank you to Bookimed for helping me choose a clinic.
This is not just a hospital, IT’S A SUPER HOSPITAL!!! To be honest, we did not even expect that medicine could be of such a high level. About the staff separately: from nurses to professors of the clinic, damn it, well, all simple normal kind people. I have never seen such attention to the child, literally everything is scheduled by the minute, everyone is smiling, joking. In general, the small one did not understand that he had undergone a complex operation on the spinal cord. After the operation and recovery from complex anesthesia, the child never even cried and did not experience any pain (except for changing the bandage, removing the adhesive plaster). The hospital itself is huge, EVERYTHING FOR CHILDREN, everything is in drawings, slides, balls, a dinosaur farm. Everything is done so that the children are not afraid of doctors, etc. And a special HUGE THANK YOU to our Neurosurgeon Jose Hinojosa Mena-Bernal. This is a man with golden hands and a kind heart (just works wonders)! The child began to walk independently 5 days after the operation.
Thanks to Resuscitator Mikki, a young guy who looked after the little one after the operation, like his son. And also to the interpreter of the hospital, Mikhail, who, together with us, empathized with everything that happened, thanks to the nurse Svetlana, who helped in all matters related to caring for the little one, including as a translator, and just a good kind woman. Thanks to our curator of the hospital for organizing the stay in the clinic, cheerful, always cheerful with a smile on her face Valeria, who solves all issues of hospitalization and treatment. My dentist, Dr. Taha Atkas, is very professional, soft spoken and walks me through the whole process, so I feel very comfortable working with them. Dr. Taha Atlas is a great asset to the clinic. I finished everything at 7 for the upper and lower jaw. I just finished the 1st stage so far so good and will be back in 6 months for the 2nd stage. After the operation, I had a nosebleed. The clinic helps me in this regard, and the administrators and medical staff are friendly and always ready to help. So far it has been a pleasant experience. I have reviewed the 1 star review of this clinic on this website and understand the concerns expressed by other patients. I understand that price is a sensitive topic. (for example, the offer differs from the original agreement because the brand or treatment plan is changed locally). My suggestion, in order to avoid those 1 star reviews that happened to an individual patient, is to work with due diligence: (1) request quotes in full detail and request all brands and materials used in writing; (2) Ask for a virtual consultation to guide you step by step.
And for each step, ask for a price in writing. (3) Submit your dental x-ray and ask for a treatment plan based on the dental x-ray as the x-ray will not change much and the treatment plan should not change significantly based on the x-ray. (4) you can ask to speak directly with the dentist and make a treatment plan before leaving. This would help keep the mail price down. The x-ray will not change, so the treatment plan should not change significantly. (4) Bookimed should be your support system throughout the journey. Bookimed was very helpful and supportive in my case. So far my experience is great.

..everything went smoothly. The staff welcomes us with a warm hand and trust, they are so human, respectful, competent and friendly. The clinic is too beautiful, clean, with sophisticated equipment, like here in Switzerland, where we live. Everything was well organized, well planned, no delays. The doctors were so precise, competent and honest… there is nothing they didn’t explain to us before starting the egg retrieval. The nurses and the embryology team are very competent and do their job with love. Our coordinator Svetlana is an angel in human form, she has been so kind and kind to us since we started our treatment. all information she gave us was correct, all feedback was timely. We are still surprised by our wonderful treatment, now the ball is in my hands to get a positive pregnancy test.

The whole package of care and procedures went well. At first I was worried about the split booking system and didn’t get an immediate response from the clinic, but in the end everything went well. Also Dr. Mohammad who kept in touch with me all the time from booking the transfer cars, telling me the time frame, explaining the medications, it meant I felt safe and reassured. The procedure went well and I am satisfied with Dr. CEM. Bookimed is a good idea and it works well, responds quickly to your questions and is a really helpful system, especially since there are so many clinics in Turkey and so many options Bookimed helps to narrow down the pool of good quality clinics.
