By Bus
Public transport is by far the best way to get to Camp Nou. The bus is one of the options we recommend. If you decide to take the bus, the lines that will take you there are lines 7, 15, 43, 67, 8, 74, 75, L12, L50, L60 and L62.
By Metro
When You’re in the centre of Barcelona city, we recommend you to take the Metro. This is the easiest way to get from Barcelona centre to Camp Nou. Take Line 3, then exit at Collblanc or Badal for gates 2 to 17; or take Line 5, then exit at Les Corts for gates 17 to 21 or Maria Cristina for gates 1 to 11.
Remember that the metro closes at midnight from Monday to Thursday.

The European Union of Football Associations (UEFA) in the 1998-99 season rated the Spanish stadium with a maximum mark of 5 stars. In 2010, under the new grading rules, Camp Nou was awarded 4 stars.

History of the Barcelona stadium
The Camp Nou was built between 1955 and 1957 by the architects Francesc Mitjans Miro and Josep Soteras Mauri.
The construction required an impressive amount – almost 2 million euros. Initially, the object was called the FC Barcelona Stadium, and the current name was established in 2001. The stands could accommodate up to 100,000 spectators.
The first reconstruction of the Camp Nou stadium was in 1981, it was expanded to 120,000 spectators in connection with the World Cup. But already in 1998, UEFA introduced new rules – to remove standing places, providing such fan zones with seats. In order to keep the Camp Nou as spacious as before, the level of the turf had to be lowered.
Now the Camp Nou stadium in Barcelona is considered the largest in Europe, the size of the field is 105 by 68 meters. The capacity of the Camp Nou is 99,354 people.

This list may vary from club to club. In this article, we will tell you how to become a member of Barcelona Football Club.
FC Barcelona (Barça in the language of football) is one of the best football clubs in the world. His matches attract fans from different countries. Many of these fans dream of becoming members of the club. However, this is not so easy to do. There is a strict procedure for selecting club members.
1. Who can become a member of FC Barcelona?
There are 3 age categories for club members:
- Children under 1 year old (category alevín – bebe)
- Children from 1 to 14 years of age (category alevín – infantil)
- Children aged 15 to 18 and adults (adult category)

FC Barcelona membership for children under 14
Children under the age of 14 can become members of the club in a simplified manner. To do this, parents must bring the child to the club and bring the following documents:
- Child’s passport or identity card (original and copy)
- Copy of Libro de Familia or birth certificate of the child with duly certified translation into Spanish (original and copy)
- Bank account data from which the subscription fee for membership in the club will be debited:
- Children under 1 year – 42 euros per year
- Children from 1 to 5 years old – 42 euros per year
- Children from 6 to 14 years old – 88 euros per year.
Despite club membership, children under 14 are not entitled to a permanent seat in the stadium, unlike adult club members.
3. FC Barcelona membership for children aged 15 to 18 and adults
For those who have one of their relatives already a member of the club, the procedure for becoming a member of the club is greatly simplified. In this case, you need to provide:
- Applicant’s identification documents
- Club member identification documents
- Document confirming relationship
For those who do not have relatives who are members of the Barcelona club, becoming a member is much more difficult. In exceptional cases, the decision is made by the Board of Directors of the club, if the meeting of directors considers the candidate worthy. But this is only in exceptional cases. For the rest, the following order is set:
- The candidate completes the provisional membership (carnet de compromiso). This membership does not provide any benefits, but is the first step towards the coveted status of a full member of the Barcelona Football Club. To apply for a preliminary membership, you must provide the club’s offices with an identity document and bank account details.
- Candidate regularly pays membership fees (137 euros per year) for 3 years.
- Every year from June 1 to October 30 personally renews the membership card at the club’s offices.
- Club membership requested after 3 years. It may take up to six months to resolve this issue.
To apply for a preliminary membership, you must provide the club’s offices with an identity document and bank account details. The admission of new members to the club is currently suspended.
4. Is a member of FC Barcelona entitled to a permanent seat in the stands of the club’s stadium during matches?
Only after 2 years have elapsed from the date of acceptance as a member of the club (ie, in fact 5 years after receiving the preliminary membership), a member of the club has the right to request a season ticket, which guarantees a place in the stands of the stadium.
These subscriptions are not currently issued. There is a waiting list – about 10,000 people. Members of the club who have requested a subscription must regularly pay membership fees and renew their membership card. Otherwise, they will be excluded from the waiting list.
5. Rental of membership in the football club Barcelona
Since membership in FC Barcelona is still an unrealizable dream for many, renting a membership card can be a way out of this situation.
In this case, the club member lends the membership card. You will be able to attend all matches at the Camp Nou football stadium. In this case, you will have guaranteed 2 seats in the stadium. The cost of renting a FC Barcelona membership card depends on the seat category:
- Premium seats – approx. 8.000 euros per year.
- First category seats – approx. 5-6.000 euros per year.
- Second category seats – approx. 4.500 euros per year.
- Parking space – approx. 800 euros per year.
