Tours of old Barcelona
Old Barcelona is the heart of the city, which you need to visit to understand and love. First of all, Gothic quarters filled with the spirit of the Middle Ages, mysterious stories and legends will help you with this. Also worthy of your attention is the Roman cemetery and the remains of the city wall of the 2nd century. Numerous ancient cathedrals with beautiful frescoes and stained-glass windows will share their history with their own hands.
Tours of old Barcelona are completely on foot and allow you to delve (both literally and figuratively) into the old quarters of the city. It is here that our guides will tell you about the fortress of Barcino of the Roman era, about medieval legends and cult historical figures, about the bustling life of the Jewish quarter and ancient temples, in particular about the cathedral, and about the most revered saints in Catalonia.
You will be able to visit the Sagrada Familia, but not as an ordinary tourist, but from the side of construction, in the company of one of the architects of the reconstruction. Walk along the Rambla and visit the original Raval with its multinational inhabitants. Look into quiet lanes and squares and feel the atmosphere of old Barcelona. Thus, you will see not only Masonic signs, but also learn many other secrets of the city.
Hundreds of legends about vampires, witches and ghosts, as well as many other stories about Barcelona, will be fascinatingly told by Russian-speaking locals – our guides. Once you get to know the ancient side of the city, you will fall in love with it once and for all and want to know more about it.

Sagrada Familia
Sagrada Familia is the most famous creation and the life work of the great architect Antoni Gaudí. The construction of the Sagrada Familia, which began in 1882, is still ongoing. All the details of the external and internal design have a deep religious basis – according to Gaudi’s plan, the Sagrada Familia should become the embodiment of the New Testament.

Singing Fountains of Montjuic
Thanks to the talented engineer Carlos Buigas at 19In 29, Barcelona was decorated with the fountains of Montjuic at the foot of the mountain of the same name. The volume of water in the fountains is 3 million liters. From hundreds of small and large elliptical bowls, 3.5 thousand jets of water rise at the same time, changing their color.
-
Temple of the Sacred Heart
The construction of the Catholic Church of the Sacred Heart on Tibidabo hill lasted 59 years and was completed in 1961. The building consists of three parts – the crypt, the temple itself and the dome. A 7-meter bronze statue of Christ is installed on the dome.
-
House Mila
Casa Mila (La Pedrera) is the last creation of Gaudí. The architecture of the building embodies the idea of a “living” mountain, which is constantly moving along the sea waves. The construction of the house was completed in 1910.
-
Camp Nou
Camp Nou is the largest stadium in Europe. Built in 1957, it has become the new home stadium for the famous Catalan team Barcelona. The name of the object was given by the people, and it is translated from Spanish as “New Field”. Today, the Camp Nou Stadium has become the hallmark of Catalonia. Object capacity – 99,000 spectators. For tourists, an excursion with an audio guide is organized.

Rambla
The history of the Rambla begins in 1766, when a wide street appeared on the site of the demolished fortification walls. Today, the boulevard has become the main pedestrian street in Barcelona. The boulevard originates from the fountain and is divided into five pedestrian zones. Each of them has its own attraction.

It was the best decision to start exploring Barcelona with a bike tour with Alexander! Thank you, Alexander! In 3 hours we saw all the most important and beautiful things, got our bearings in the city, heard a lot of interesting and completely boring facts and stories, and received excellent advice on the most delicious places in the city! Feel free to recommend!

Aleksey is an excellent interlocutor who, in addition to the topic of the excursion, covered, probably, everything that can excite a tourist in an unfamiliar city.
I added additional links with the necessary information. Thank you very much Alexey! We really enjoyed!

The tour was general information, I would like to hear more subtle details on the architecture, history and organization of life in the area in the old days.
