Where is Camp Nou in Barcelona?

Camp Nou is located around 5 kilometres from the centre of Barcelona on the way out of the city to the east. Despite it’s relatively un-central location, it’s really easy to reach thanks to the city’s efficient transport system. There are a range of ways to get there from all over the city, which you can skip to in the sections below.

The stadium itself forms part of a sporting complex with Barcelona’s Mini Estadi.

How to Get to Camp Nou

There are a variety of different ways to get to Camp Nou depending on whereabouts you are in the city, your budget, and which entrance you’re looking to go into.

From the City Centre

It’s really easy to get to the Camp Nou stadium from the city centre thanks to Barcelona’s efficient and reliable metro service. From the centre you can hop on the green metro line (Line 3) and head in the direction of Zona Universataria. You can either get off at Les Corts, Maria Cristina, or Palau Reial (directions from each of these stations are below). The total journey time from the city centre takes around 25 minutes.

If you’re travelling to Camp Nou from the Sagrada Familia, you can grab the metro line 5 in the direction of Cornella Centre and get off at either Badal or Collblanc (directions from these stations are detailed below).

From the Airport

Getting to the stadium from the airport is really simple because it’s on the way into the city. From the airport, you want to get the airport shuttle train to Barcelona’s central Sants station, where you can then change to the green metro line (Line 3). Get off at Palau Reial, Les Cortes, or Maria Cristina.

Via Metro

The stadium is easiest to reach by metro, thanks to Barcelona’s great services that travel to all parts of the city. There are several stations that surround the stadium, each of which are about a 10-minute walk to Camp Nou.

The closest stations are Palau Reial, Maria Cristina, and Les Cortes on Line 3, and Badal and Collblanc on Line 5. Each station is set about 500m-1km from the stadium, depending on which access gate you’re heading for.

From Maria Cristina – Turn left after you exit the station and continue on up Avenida Diagonal. Keep walking past the huge black “La Caixa” skyscraper until you get to the Princess Sofia Gran Hotel. From there, you want to take the first left – Camp Nou is at the end of this road.
From Palau Reial – Head left when you emerge out of the station and then turn left again up Carrer de Marti I Franques – the stadium is at the end of this road.
From Collblanc – Take a right out of the station and walk along Carreer de Sants until you reach Carrer de la Riera Blanca. Turn left up this road until it changes into C. Aristides Maillol, which is the road the stadium is located on.
From Badal – Head left out of the station and immediately turn up Carrer de Portbou until you reach Avenida de Madrid. Turn left onto it and then take the next right up Carrer de Benavent. You’ll be able to see the stadium at the end of this road.
From Les Corts – Simply head left down Travessera de Les Corts until you see the stadium appear on your right.

Closest station to each gate:

Accesses 1-10: Palau Reial
Accesses 11-16: Collblanc
Accesses 17 and 19: Badal
Accesses 19-21: Les Corts

There are more metro services put on for match days, but be warned that most services will be busy when Barcelona are playing. During the week and on Sundays, the metro runs right up until midnight. On Saturdays it runs through the night.

Via Bus

There are several bus services that stop in places all around the stadium, including lines 7, 15, 33, 43, 56, 63, 67, 68, 70, 72, 74, 75, 78, 113, 153, 157, 158, and 167.

To get yourself right outside the stadium, hop on the 75 line or the L12 and get off at the Estadi del Futbol Club Barcelona stop or grab the H8 line to Les Corts-Arizala.

Many of the tourist buses also make a stop-off at the stadium, where a ticket lets you hop on and off as you please throughout the day.

Via Tram

There are 6 tram stops dotted around Camp Nou which are serviced by lines T1, T2, and T3. You can get off at Maria Cristina, Pius XII, Palau Reial, Universitaria, Avinguda de Xile, and Sant Ramon. Each stop is about a 10-minute walk from the stadium.

Via Car

Alternatively, you can get to Camp Nou via car from the Ronda da Dalt (the motorway that runs into the city) and take exit 11 along the Avenida Diagonal. Keep to the right of the tram tracks before turning onto Calle de Sabino Arana, which is signposted to the stadium. Follow the road around to the left and then take a right onto the Gran Via de Carlos III before taking another right onto Travessa de Les Corts. The stadium will soon appear on your right.

Parking near Camp Nou

You can park for free during the Camp Nou experience opening hours in the stadium by entering through Access 14 on Carrer Aristides Maillol. On match days the car park is open until 4 hours before kick off. Alternatively, you can park up Avenida Diagonal near the University.

Camp Nou Accessibility

The stadium is home to a large number of staircases, which means it’s not entirely suitable for wheelchairs. However, you can still visit the Museum, including the trophy room and the Messi space, as well as getting a panoramic view over the stadium from the designated wheelchair route on the second tier.

1. 23″ x 23″ Matt + Frame (Recommended)
Our 23″ x 23″ frames have a black 1.75” wide genuine-wood molding with an 11.75” x 11.75” measurement inside the mat. The print is enhanced with a soft white acid-free mat, which is bevel cut and placed on top of the print. The print and matt are protected by a premium crystal-clear acrylic overlay. The back of the frame is sealed with a dust cover for added protection. Industrial silver hanging hardware is bolted to the back of the frame – it’s ready to hang on your wall. (pictured below)

2. 16.5″ x 16.5″ Frame
Our 16.5″ x 16.5″ frames have a black 2.75” wide heavy polystyrene molding. We choose to mount the prints without an acrylic overlay, which shows off the unique properties of our paper stock when it hits the light. 3. 14″ x 14″ or 30″ x 30″ Gallery-Wrapped Canvas
We print directly on high-quality canvas, then stretch the image over heavy gauge 1.5″ deep wood stretcher bars. Corners are braced with additional bars and heavy hardware is attached to the back so your piece is ready to hang. (pictured below)

4. 23″ x 23″ Wood Art Panel
We print using fine UV ink on a sheet of 1/2″ birch plywood. Then we distress the ink to achieve a weathered look before carving board grooves within the panel. The frame out the back of the piece with 1″ x 2″ lumber, then add heavy hardware and wire so it’s ready to hang. Each wood art panel is made to order, so please allow one to two weeks for your piece to ship. If you need a short turnaround, please contact us and we’ll see if we can make it happen.
