Preventing theft starts with securing your ride! All our bikes come with in-built double locks, including battery locks for our e-Bikes. Always remember to double lock your bike. If someone steals it (or you lose it) when double locked, you’ll pay a surcharge, depending on the type of bike.
But don’t stress. In the unfortunate event that your bike is stolen, we’ll help you file a police report and we’ll get you another Swapfiets right away – so you can get back on two wheels in no time.
When you’re done with your Swapfiets for whatever reason, simply cancel your membership and return the bike to one of our stores.
