Opinion on the role of the individual in history and details of the events that started the football club Barcelona

Everyone is looking for their roots, but not in the way they show in the movies. Finding the origins of something is like research work that you enjoy. Because the story generates incredible curiosity: what if you are from another country, what if your best friend happens to be your relative… It’s exciting, because these are new details. A Swiss with Harry Potter glasses and a cup hat created the best club in the world.
Joan Gamper, 1910
And to think that if this man had not come to Barcelona for professional reasons, the team we love would not have been created. It makes you move forward in difficult moments of life, because this is what football gives: it is like a bubble, inside which you forget about all current problems. In life it all comes down to losing, but football can make you feel closer and closer to your goal or victory. How many people suffer because of love or money, but you see how they long for football to be part of their lives. After all, football is more than love, passion or hobby. It is inside you, as if it is another heart that beats in you in colors that you protect and love. How many nights have we sung at the stadium Leo Messi’s hat-tricks that inspire an entire nation and make you kneel down, because you realize that you have become a living witness to the creation of a work of art. There are things you have to see with your own eyes as a 12 player. How many times have you, as a spectator, felt the need to cheer up your players, who have always made you excited. If you see Messi lose heart when things don’t work out, you feel important, because like a psychologist, you make him fight in this difficult moment of the match.
Sports notes
Looking back at history, everyone will be interested to know that Barça was created thanks to a colony of foreigners who soon became friends with Joan Gamper (born Hans-Max Camper). A man with a passion for football like no other we know, he was able to spend his time organizing friendly matches in the Sant Gervasi area. Hans came to Barcelona with a purpose and a dream. That dream was a project that slowly evolved until it was featured in the local magazine Los Deportes with a small ad in the Sports Notes section. He invited all the foreign football fans of Barcelona to come together to practice the game.
Our friend and colleague Mr. Cans Camper from the football section of Sociedad Los Deportes and former Swiss champion who wants to organize some matches in Barcelona, asks everyone who is interested in the above mentioned sport, please contact him, kindly Check out this newsroom on Tuesdays and Fridays from 9 to 11 pm.
A month later, the Sole gymnasium, which was also created by Hans, became the founding place of FC Barcelona. The colors chosen at that moment were inspired by the legendary Swiss club Basel. Since then, the blue-garnet colors have not changed and have more than 120 years of history. For the first few years, the club looked like an international organization as it was founded by Spanish as well as foreign members.
Hans Gamper as a football player
Hans Gamper played for the Barcelona first team from 1899 to 1903. In 1901, he became a participant in the main historical achievement – the conquest of the first title of “Blaugrana”. He subsequently served as president several times. Years later, Gamper signed his first football star: Paulino Alcantara scored over 350 goals and became one of the top goalscorers in Barça’s history. Gamper participated in the construction of the first stadium in Les Corts, a district of Barcelona. The stadium, so named because of its location – “Les Corts”. He became so close to the Club and Catalan customs that he began to learn the Catalan language and eventually spoke it perfectly and delivered his public speeches.
Joan Gamper with the players at the opening of Les Corts stadium (May 22, 1922)
everything. The stadium where Barcelona played at the time was closed by the government for more than a year. The reason for the closure was that the Spanish anthem was booed from its stands. Due to the fact that Gamper was expelled, and the team could not play due to the fault of the government during a difficult period, his health deteriorated.
