Barcelona Airport’s Terminal 2 (T2) is only a 20 – 25 minute taxi drive from the city centre, and Terminal 1 (T1) is 30 – 35 minutes from the city centre. So it is worth remembering that you will have a far greater choice of accommodation if you head into the city centre. However, if your main concern is close proximity to the airport, you will find a handful of business-orientated hotels that are within five to ten minutes drive of the airport terminals.
Remember that, although many of these hotels are close, they are not accessible by foot. They can only be reached by major roads that would be dangerous for pedestrians. For this reason, most of the larger airport hotels provide shuttle services from Barcelona airport to the hotel and back. See below for more details.
Most of the hotels that are closest to the airport are four star. The cheaper hotels are generally located in the nearby town of El Prat – a ten minute drive from the airport.

How to get to your accommodation
All of the four star hotels close to Barcelona Airport provide shuttle bus services between T2 of the airport and the hotel. Some hotels ask that you call in advance to request their shuttle bus – others simply do round trips at regular intervals – you will need to check each of our individual reviews for details of how to catch the bus.
For transport to the hotels from T1 you will need to the Car Park Parking G – a three-minute walk from the terminal building. Here the hotel shuttle buses will pick you up and drop you off.
For transport from T2 You will find an area outside T2A and an area outside T2C where the hotel shuttle buses pick people up and drop them off.
These can be spotted as they provide a large metal sign with the logos for each of the hotels that provide shuttle buses.
Some of the hotel shuttle buses do not run all night. If this is the case with your hotel and you are arriving in the middle of the night, you may need to get a taxi to the hotel.

The minimum fare for a taxi from the airport is irrespective of how short the journey. This may be a tad frustrating if your hotel is only five minutes from the airport. However, this is a necessary evil if there are no shuttle buses running. As there are no other transport options.

Very clean an modern. Particularly well appointed rooms. Price not unreasonable for an airport hotel. €74 for a bed
Taxi is €20 minimum charge from airport even thought it’s 5 minutes.
The hotel has a shuttle bus but it’s frequency is not reported on booking.com, so I took a taxi as it was nearly midnight and I was tired. The shuttle would have been fine in retrospect

What was the highlight of BAH Barcelona Airport Hotel
Breakfast is the worst.
Breakfast is the worst. They never had bread or basic stuff and had to wait until the only 1 person put some more. It was always full of people but only 1 person taking care of the breakfast. Not good.
Also the rooms are very noisy. You can hear everything from the room next to you and from the hallway.

Good business-standard international hotel. Courtesy bus to/from the airport.

The food from the bar was somewhat bizarre. I ordered the chicken curry with rice but half the plate was filled by salad and fried bread! I can’t eat bread/gluten so had purposefully ordered a meal with rice. I would have liked more curry & rice!

Very clean rooms, the rooms have coffee, tea, free drinking water, very nice staff, breakfast is simple, but from 4.30 in the morning, it was very convenient, I read reviews about the toilet without a door, but you can close the door to the room, so it’s really possible to create privacy . The man at the reception asked us several times to make sure we knew exactly where to look for the shuttle bus in the morning to another terminal.
For those who have an early flight, it is very convenient. Free crib provided for a 2 year old.

Stayed for one night. There was time between planes. I needed close to the airport and not expensive. I don’t sleep in hostels. There was a bed in the photo. And it is written that in the family – in fact – this is a separate apartment in which there are two rooms on the key and a shared bathroom, kitchen and hall.
There are no photos of them, but everything is very decent. Plus, there is a bus from the airport, a stop three minutes down the street. I went by taxi, about 10 euros. Everything is convenient, for a short stay is a great option.

Basellona Airport Terminal 2 (T2) is located just 25-30 minutes by taxi from the city center and it takes 30-35 minutes to get to the city center from Terminal 1 (T1). How to get to the hotel
All 4 star hotels near Barcelona Airport provide shuttle buses between T2 and the hotel.
Some hotels ask you to inform about the need for a bus in advance, while the buses of other hotels run between the airport and the hotel on schedule. The schedule of these buses is given in the reviews of the respective hotels.
Buses from T1 to hotels leave from parking lot G. The parking lot is located a three-minute walk from the terminal building. The bus from the hotel picks up and drops off passengers at the parking lot.
Buses from T2 to the hotel depart from special areas near T2A and T2C where passengers are boarded and disembarked. Finding a bus stop is not difficult. at each stop there is a large metal shield with the logo of the respective hotel.
Buses of some hotels do not run at night. Thus, if you arrive late at night and the hotel bus is no longer running, you will have to take a taxi.
