Great atmosphere at one of the oldest restaurant in Barcelona.
A pianist plays hits songs adds to the vibe. There is no dress code but will be nice to dress up for a date at this restaurant.

It is as pricey as they say bit the ambiance is worth it! We have tried the canneolli with beef and paella with lobster and meat, both very delisious. Try their one of their house-wines too.

Paella prices from 15 to 23 euro. We had the king choice only with seafood and it was delicious. Maybe it is a bit expensive but you should definetly come here and try! 2 people can share one paella

This is certainly the city’s most famous paella, which is always good. Try also seafood and rice dishes prepared in traditional way like Fideuà with prawnsor the Zarzuela with lobster.

Born in 2019, La Barra offers some of the most significant food plates of the cuisine of Restaurant 7 Portes in a smaller format so that they can be eaten and shared informally, between the bar and some high and low tables.

Our menu
The biggest connection between La Barra and 7 Portes is found on the palate, since the same recipes are offered, only in smaller quantities and at lower prices.
In some cases, difficult to find in any bar, such as the Parellada rice for one person.
In La Barra you will enjoy individual portions of the most typical food plates on the 7 Portes menu. From an excellent glass of xató salad or traditional squid rings in batter accompained by mayonnaise and romesco sauce, cannelloni with truffles or some of the dishes in danger of extinction, such as mar i muntanya traditional in tapas format. And, of course, the tastiest and most photogenic desserts, such as crema catalana, cheesecake or chocolate mousse.
